Children, moms and dads, brothers and sisters and adults of all ages love to create their own adobe brick and learn about how adobe is made. They get to bring home a certificate of achievement along with their own brick along with a sense of pride and understanding of their sense of place.
This event is produced entirely by Querencia volunteers who build, set up, haul water, educate and spend countless hours in the sun to share their love of adobe, Mesilla and a way of life to inspire future generations of adobe builders.
